Ted Kim is a singer/songwriter and recording artist from Chilliwack, British Columbia.
Ted, a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, drums, bass, piano, synths, and trumpet.
His earlier work bannered under the alias “Dear Father”, and released two records, 100 Years (2017) and Away from Home (2021), a Factor funded project. During this time Ted entertained audiences coast to coast with his soft melancholic sound, and was nominated for a total of 5 FVMA Awards.
Ted’s musical influences include contemporary folk and alternative rock artists from the 90’s and early 2000’s such as City & Colour and Radiohead. Ted currently writes and records from his home studio in Chilliwack.
