Working Towards a Better Tomorrow
“With being 100% volunteer based and with not having a facility or 'shelter', we rely on the families in the community to provide a safe loving place for the dogs. All the in's and out's of the rescue are handled by dedicated volunteers. The fosters offer their time and space to dogs in need all the time! As a group, we rescue, transport and care dogs in need.”
“Our focus is our dogs; we do not allocate any funds for staff and use all donations towards vet care, supplies, transportation, and dog food.
The entire Board of Directors volunteers their time and skills to en
sure each and every dog that joins our program receive all the care they need.
Currently, we do not have a facility or overhead costs. All our dogs live in loving foster homes until adopted. We do not euthanize to "make space". We work hard to find potential applicants, even if it takes a long time. Some dogs have stayed in our program for over a year. We want to make the right match - not a quick adoption. Fosters and volunteers are an integral part of Paws It Forward and it is so rewarding to see people come together to help dogs from all over the world that have been abused, abandoned, or neglected. Seeing the dogs transform is priceless.”
