Aged 18 months in new French oak, our flagship Reserve Cabernet Franc achieves its complexity all on its own. Medium-bodied bursting with red currants and cassis, with a wild herbal note unfolding into a sweet tobacco and toasted vanilla.
Vintage Notes
One of the oldest wine grapes, it lends its DNA to most Bordeaux varieties. Generally a little bit more on the red fruit spectrum, and more herbal than Cab Sauv, and Merlot. During the time where everyone was looking for bigger, bolder reds, Cab Franc fell out of favour but is starting to show promise now that tastes are changing again.

Full bodied, high alcohol, medium high acidity, medium-high ripe tannin, dry, high flavour intensity, long finish.
