Vintage Notes
Hailing from the Loire Valley, Sauvignon Blanc, is related to the non-aromatic mutation of Gewurztraminer. It is one of the most distinctive smelling whites, often being described as bell pepper, grassy, and gooseberry aromas. A benchmark high acid grape, it is usually best drinking young, but can last long in sweeter styles of wine, usually as a blending partner.
Winemaker's Notes
Medium bodied, low-medium alcohol, high acidity, full sweet, high flavour intensity, long finish.
